Karma Calendar

Serendipity is one of life’s beautiful gifts.  I’m at a bead show this weekend in Pompano Beach, FL.  I just met in person one of our customers who orders online all of the time.  How fun to meet someone in person whose name you see time and again.  Resa is a jewelry designer, yogi, and positive thinker who has created a really cool jewelry company, with a karmic angle, that I love.  It’s called Karma Calendar.  Resa describes it as “A 27-day journey for any time of the ear, in an advent calendar for your soul.”   With the Karma Calendar, every day you open a door on the calendar, and complete the good karma task hidden behind the door.  At the end of the day, you add a bead to your wrist mala.  After 27 days, you have a full wrist mala to wear, to remind you of your karmic investment, and to use as a meditation tool.

I love it!  This is a truly unique concept, with such a beautiful lesson and end result.  And to top it off, Resa donates a portion of her proceeds to the Choki Traditional Art School (CTAS), in Thimphu, Bhutan, that helps underprivileged children continue their education, and helps preserve their traditional art forms.

As a fellow yogini, female business owner, and creative soul I was so excited to share Resa’s beautiful business with you.  If you’re interested, check it out here:

About Carter Seibels

I have a fascination with the world at large, and all of its people. The things we make, eat, wear, discard. There is so much to explore, so much to see, so much to feel, taste, smell, touch. There's much too much to do, to sit around on the couch. I have an eye for color and a sense for the unusual, and I love to travel, to explore, to have my senses dazzled. I gather my findings, the things that catch my eye, here- to share with you and all who might chance this way, with joy and thanksgiving for the beautiful world in which we live.
